Creating a Summer Flower Arrangement

Summer is a great time to find cheerful colorful flowers arrangements for your home to create. Take advantage of these flowering time by choosing flowers in a variety of colors, shapes and sizes, such as those listed below:

Dahlias - a cheerful plant of the daisy family of flowers that can reach 10 inches in diameter.

Teddy Bear Sunflowers - a small version of the original sunflower. It grows to 3 feet tall.

Scented Geranium Leaves - this plant is sculpted leaves that are available in many scents of ginger to chocolate.
Zinnias - available in a variety of colors and sizes and has a sturdy blooms.

Spray Roses - a miniature version of the rose that comes in many colors and scents.

Perennial Salvia - a purple twig that a sharp contrast to the full blossom of the other plants adds.

Decide on the container you want to use for your flower arrangement and fill it with water. A short cup-shaped container results in a further arrangement while a tall vase resulting in a thinner package. Garden flowers usually have thick and green stems that the water turbid or cloudy. Therefore, it is best to use a non-transparent container such as a ceramic dish or a vase. To the bouquet design, start by grouping the medium and large flowers (Dahlias, Teddy Bear Sunflowers, and Zinnias) in your hand until you get the desired look. Standing the device next to the container at the correct height to be measured. Cut diagonally to steal the flowers stay hydrated.

Once the medium and large flowers in your container, tuck in the smaller flowers (Perennial Salvia and Scented Geraniums) around the medium and large flowers. You should now have a beautiful flower arrangement for your home!
